One Kill Team Lawyer Speaks Out

One of the most serious accusations of war crimes to emerge from the war in Afghanistan, five soldiers have been accused of conspiracy and premeditated murder for being a part of a ‘kill team’ that blew up and shot Afghan civilians at random, and then collected their fingers as trophies. If these charges hold true, and the five men are convicted, they face the death penalty, or life in prison. Major Eric Montalvo, Military Defense Attorney, who’s representing one of the five soldiers, Adam Winfield, explains the fear Winfield experienced not from the enemy, but one of his own soldiers. He describes the failures in the military and the lack of supervision.

All I know is this shit has gone on too long… 1/3 of soldiers are on medications.. they are smoking dope, getting dui’s and who knows what else… Why don’t we send the politicians over to fight for us?

no, it’s about profit and control like any other war like iraq for example.
but if you think it’s about revenge then your justice is the same the nazis had, rounding up and killing a village for a dead soldier. 3000 died on 9/11 and 300+ times more were killed in response. most of them civilians. i’m counting iraq too because you said oversea (which is very vague)
